One year Ir went to the Texas State Fair in Dallas.

Elvin won three teddy bears at one of the game booths.

They told him he could not play there anymore.

Unfortunately the only place he could put these was on the school bus which was unlocked.

Someone went on and took them off.

Elvin was a very good athlete and I think he could have been super if he had the economic advantaes some of the other guys had.

Unfortunately I did not see him after I went into the army  in 1969 but I did go by and see his dad after I got out of the army in 1971.

Elvin, we miss you.
