Caregiver

My father Ralph had been in Kelsi's care in Olney. Thursday I got a call around 2:00 that my father was not responsive and was being rushed to Hamilton Hospital. When I arrived to the ER I was met by my family and of course Kelsi was right by his side. She stayed there and made sure he was comfortable and After around 2 hrs my father started waking up and was admitted. I had met with her before but hadn't really got to visit with her. She talked about Kooper and how she was so excited about taking him to the beach and about growing up in Snyder and her big wonderful family. I showed her pictures of my wife and kids and we laughed and shared stories of our families and she was just a great friend and care giver to my parents . I can understand why they looked forward to her visits. She was a sweet and kind nurse, caregiver, and friend. Around 4:00 I decided to go back to work after my fathers health seemed to be getting better. As I was leaving I let Kelsi know that she was a Godsend to our family and we were so thankful for her and she said with a smile that she enjoyed the visits with my parents and loved her job. Well it showed and after all of the kind words that I have heard from several families here in Olney, she touched many lives and we are all SO thankful for her. God Bless and we continue to pray for Kris, Kooper, and all of your family. With deepest sympathies, Chris Widner
