Ricky Joe Mowery, age 66 of Snyder died on Saturday April 29, 2017 comfortably in his home.

Born January 17, 1951 in Lubbock, TX, he was the son of the late Joe and Bernice (Roberts) Mowery.

Rick grew up in Lubbock, Texas, and then served in the U.S. Army in the Vietnam War. He and his wife Brenda spent most of their lives in Levelland, Texas where he worked at Scotts Manufacturing. Rick made lifelong friends wherever he lived.

Survivors include his son Zack Mowery and his wife Natalie, grandkids Brody and Sadie all of Lubbock, Texas, brother Mike Mowery of Marble Falls, Texas, sisters Rhonda Thissen of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Tammy Clark of Cleveland, Texas, Leisa Elliott of Cleveland, Texas and sister-in-law Mary Mowery of Lubbock, TX along with numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Brenda Mowery, parents Joe and Bernice Mowery and his brother Terry Mowery

A private memorial will be held at a later date.
