Elvira Pacheco Martinez, age 90, passed away in Snyder on Sunday, December 30th, 2018.
Rosary will be recited on January 3rd, 2019 at 6:00 PM at Miller Family Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Mass will be on Friday, January 4th, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church 1311 Avenue K Snyder, Texas 79549 with Father Raj Arokiasamy officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Miller Family Funeral Home at Snyder Cemetery.
Mrs. Martinez was born on September 10th, 1928 in Mercedes, Texas to Rafael and Maria (Qiroga) Pacheco. She was a homemaker that loved her family. Everyone loved her cooking, especially her fresh homemade tortillas.
She is survived by
2 Sons, Sesario Martinez, Jr. and wife Angela, Wolfforth, TX and Raul Martinez and wife Delores, Anchorage, AK
4 Daughters, Maria Alicia Leiba, Beatrice Solis, Dora Martinez and Elida Martinez, all of Snyder, TX
2 Step-Daughters, Alselma Garcia and husband Gregorio, Raymondville, TX and Irene Salceda and husband Tiofilio, Lamesa, TX.
Many Grandchildren, Great-Grandchildren and Great-Great- Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by Husband, Sesario Martinez; 3 Sons, Juan Martinez, Sr., Roberto Martinez, Sr. and Armando Martinez; 2 Daughters, Maria de Carmen Romero and Sulema Martinez; Step-Son, Patricio Martinez, Sr. and Step-Daughter, Vicenta Rodriguez.
