Obituary for Tomas Regalado
Tomas Regalado, age 88, passed away in Lubbock on Thursday, June 22nd, 2017.
A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 1st, 2017 at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses at 11:00 am with Bill Ward officiating. Services are under the direction of Miller Family Funeral Home.
Mr. Regalado was born on December 29th, 1928 in El Paso, Texas to Felipe and Higinia (Garcia) Regalado. He joined the Navy in 1946 becoming an Airman. He was aboard the USS Boxer Aircraft Carrier. He exited the Navy in 1949 as a veteran of the Korean War. He married Stella Reyes in the Fall of 1960 in Los Angeles, CA. They had 2 sons, Tomas Jr. and Esteban. The family moved to Snyder, Texas in 1974 to start a Jehovah's Witness Church for the Spanish speaking Mexican/American immigrants that were in the area working in the oil field.
He is survived by his wife Stella (Reyes) Regalado of Snyder.
