Obituary for Delia Vera Williams

Delia Williams, a long time resident of Snyder, passed away on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at Corpus Christi Medical Center-Bay Area in Corpus Christi, Texas.

Mrs. Williams was born on February 17, 1947 in Fort Morgan, Colorado to Roberto Sr. and Maria (Garcia) Vera. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, playing bingo and cards and creating jewelry. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren.

Mrs. Williams is survived by, husband, David Williams of Snyder, three daughters, Gracelia Barron of Corpus Christi, TX., Gloriana Barron of Arlington, TX., and Maria Angela Barron of Snyder, TX., she has three grandchildren, Enrique Barron, Aryana Paiz and Andres Barron.

Mrs. Williams is also survived by four sisters, Anita Lomeli Vera of North Lake, IL., Teodora Torres Vera of Chicago, IL., Dora Vera of Slaton, TX. and Josefina Colugna Vera of Snyder, TX., two brothers, Roberto Vera, Jr. and Ruben Vera both of Snyder, TX., a brother in law, Aubrey G. Williams, of San Antonio, four sister in-laws. Virginia Williams of Hermleigh, TX, Janie Sullenger of Snyder, Betty Thompson and husband, Derwin of Snyder and Ruby Gates and husband, Ned of San Antonio, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Rafael Vera, Sr and Daniel Vera and a sister, Lupita Vera.

She was loved by many and will be sorely missed.
