Obituary for James Earl Morris

Mr. James Earl Morris , age 63,of Colorado City, Texas passed away in Lubbock on Wednesday, July 25th, 2018.

Family Visitation is planned for Friday, July 27th, 2018 from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Miller Family Funeral Home. Funeral services will be on Saturday, July 28th, 2018 at 10:00 am at United Pentecostal Church, Colorado City, Texas with Rev. Jeremy Connell officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Miller Family Funeral Home at Westbrook Cemetery.

Mr. Morris was born on July 9th, 1955 in Loraine, Texas to Carl and Dessie (Oden) Morris.

He is survived by

Son: Joshua Morris and wife Jeanna, Midland, TX
3 Daughters: Naomi Henderson, Colorado City
Tabitha Perry and husband Rickey, Colorado City, TX
Cherity Morris and David McElroy, Colorado City, TX

Mother: Dessie "Tootsie" Morris, Alice, TX
Brother: Bobby Morris and wife Jean, Colorado City, TX
5 Sisters: Sheron Scrivner and husband Dub, Colorado City, TX, Nita Higgins and husband Allen, Angleton, TX, Patsy Lach and husband Don, Luling, TX, Wanda Manley and husband Eddie, Colorado City, TX, and Vanessa Baker and husband Tommy Joe, Alice, TX

He was preceded in death by Father and 2 Brothers, Pat and Jimmy Morris.
