Brett “The Bluesman” James, age 63 of Las Vegas, NV, formerly of Lubbock, passed away Wednesday, November 1, 2017.
Graveside services for Mr. James will be Saturday, November 11, 2017 at 10:00 am at Peaceful Gardens Cemetery in Woodrow, Lubbock County, TX. A time of memories, music and fellowship will take place at the Sols restaurant at 1:00 pm. Everybody is welcome to attend. Arrangements are under the direction of Miller Family Funeral Home.
Brett was born January 10, 1954 in Mississippi to Alfred and Bobbie (Young) James. Brett was not only a great steel guitarist and an awesome musician and band mate.... he was a true friend. Many people in the Lubbock area were moved with his passion for music.
