Coy Dale  Rhodes
Mr. Coy Dale Rhodes of Snyder, Texas passed away on Saturday, September 23, 2017. Cremation will be conducted by the Miller Family Funeral Home. A celebration of life service will be held in the coming months according to Mr. Rhodes’s wishes.
Mr. Coy Dale Rhodes was born on August 28th, 1951 to Coy E. and Ladean Rhodes. Coy Dale spent most his life working for Rhodes Welding Co Inc in Snyder as a skilled welder of oilfield service equipment.
In 1992 he married Regina J. Ellis. Mr. Rhodes was a beloved father to Whitney Lorenz. He was adored by Whitney’s children Eli and Max and affectionately known as “Grandale”. Coy Dale was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing and exploring the Texas State and National Parks.
He is survived by his wife Regina “Gina” Rhodes, mother Ladean Rhodes, sisters Janice and Bill Philen of Austin, TX and Julie and Charlie Lawrence of Weatherford, TX, daughter Whitney Lorenz and Joshua Lorenz, niece Amanda and Danny Sherman, nephews Barrett, Blake and Brent Philen, and his grandchildren Eli and Max Lorenz.
He was preceded in death by his brother Mark Rhodes and father Coy E. Rhodes.
