Condolence From: Grady Kunze
Condolence: Charles was always there when Taylor Butane needed his expertise in the propane engine field. Whether we were eating bbq or having a beer together, he always had a smile and a story about his family. I hope your family takes comfort in everybody's kind words and fondness of you. You will be truly missed. Rest Easy Buddy

Condolence: Twinkle in his eye & that mischievous grin were definitely a Charles Bethel trademark ! The one thing I remember the most of Charles was when he was in High School & he & another guy in the band would come racing out on the field & rocking on that multiple drum contraption they had attached to them ; I don't remember anyone before or after them that could rock those drums like them ! He was a great mechanic & when he was racing that drag boat I kept waiting to read of a great explosion from all of the modifications he was making to that boat to get it to be so fast,LOL - only a guy as crazy & fearless as Charles could have pulled that off ! He & his dad had a true bond even those it was pretty rocky @ times, but they truly loved each other & on a recent trip back to Snyder my father & I were in Spanish Inn & visited w/ Wayne & Charles & he was telling us about their recent outing to the lake where Wayne was still enjoying skiing @ 83 years young ! Rest in peace Charles ; you will be missed !

Condolence: I would like to express heartfelt condolences for the loss of Charles. I have fond memories from about 10 years old going with my dad out to Bethel's to fill up and visit with Charles and his dad. Then ongoing throughout the years seeing him around and catching up. He never failed to ask me how my parents and brother were doing and what was going on with me, and I know he genuinely cared to know. My late father thought alot of Charles and my whole familly considered him a friend. I last saw Charles about 2 weeks ago. I was waiting for the train to pass and looked over and he was smiling and waving, which was always Charles. Prayers for all the family and friends that loved Charles. He will be missed.

Condolence: Prayers for strength and comfort for all the family of Charles. Many fond memories when he was younger and he stopped by on his way to the lake at the old Circle in Grocery. Later on he stopped often to pick up a snack while working. He always had a smile for me and was very polite and respectful.
Sincere Sympathy,
Peggy and Gene Vernon

Condolence: So sorry to hear this Charles was a friend of mine as a kid and adult. Have lots of memories from the days Wayne and Lynn had that dirt track built surrounding their house. Remember when ol Charles was gonna be a professional Bull rider as well. His true calling was propane and bickering with his dad. At a point when life was beating me up Charles was there and I will never forget that. May God bless his family. Also if no one else knows he really Loved his Daddy. Till we meet again rest in piece my friend.

Condolence: I am so sorry to hear of Charles' passing, he was a good friend for a long time, I am going to miss him dearly! He was the best mechanic I have known and could figure anything out. His love of his family was evident every time he talked, always about his children, his sister, or his Dad. He loved to tell how his Dad was waterskiing at age 80!
