Obituary for James Williams Ausbie

James William Ausbie was born on September 28, 1955 in Colorado City, TX to James Edward and Queetie Elizabeth (Booker) Ausbie. He departed this life on July 1, 2016 in Amarillo, TX at his home.

Services for Mr. Ausbie will be held Saturday, July 9, 2016 at 1:00 pm at House of Hope Church in Colorado City, TX with Rev Terrilyn Ross, Demetrius Randle and Rev James Castille officiating. Burial will follow in the Mitchell County Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Miller Family Funeral Home in Snyder, TX.

Mr. Ausbie served in the United States Navy for 18 years. After leaving the Navy, he became a chef and spent his free time with his family making unforgettable memories.

James leaves to cherish his sweet memories, four daughters: Shajarkei Wilbert of San Antonio, TX, Shannon Ausbie-Mendoza of Lemoore, CA, Vanessa Ausbie of Lemoore, CA and Diesha Ausbie of St. Louis, MO. Five brothers: Cornell Ausbie of Colorado City, TX, Vernon Ausbie of Colorado City, TX, Alton Ausbie of Abilene, TX, Paul Ausbie of Big Spring, TX and Tracy Ausbie of Big Spring, TX. Also, eight grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
