Obituary for Donald Morris Logue

Donald Logue,78, formerly of Guymon, OK, passed away in Snyder on Wednesday, February 17th, 2016.

Funeral services will be Monday, February 22, 2016 at 2:00pm at Miller Family Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Billy Martin officiating. Burial will follow at Hillside Memorial Gardens under the direction of Miller Family Funeral Home.

Mr. Logue was born on February 10th, 1938 in Lenora, KS to Morris and Letha Logue. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. After growing in up Norton, he worked as a contract harvester working all through the midwest from Texas to Canada. He also worked for several oil companies in Kansas and Oklahoma, He married Rebecca Woodrum on July 19, 1991 at Okemah, Oklahoma. After retirement, he worked for Highway Contractors, Inc. Donald was proud to be the first one to hold his granddaughter, Krystin. His happiest moments were spending time with his grandchildren and his best friend Raymond. He never met a stranger and everyone loved him.

Survivors include his Wife; Daughter, Karie and Raymond House, of Snyder; Son Kelly and Megan Vess, of Guymon, OK; Grandchildren, Krystin, Blaine, Brandt, Kyler, Kaden, Kolton, and Logan; Parents-in-law, Robert and Lois Woodrum of Shattuck, OK; Sister-in-law, Roberta and Gary Chance of Shattuck, OK; Brother-in-law, Robert and Margaret Woodrum of Houston; Nieces and Nephews, Kevin Chance, Cody and Kylene Rehder, Mike Woodrum, Kate Woodrum; Grand niece and nephew, Kinley and Blakely Rehder. Also, Aunt Donnie and Uncle Curt Root.

He was preceded in death by His parents and an infant sister, his dog, Rover and his horse, Snake.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Assembly of God, Guymon, OK, Missionary Fund.
