Obituary for Walter Guynes

Walter Guynes , age 79, passed away in on Friday, January 22nd, 2016.

Family Visitation is planned for Sunday, January 24th, 2016 from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Miller Family Funeral Home. Funeral services will be on Monday, January 25th, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Miller Family Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow under the direction of Miller Family Funeral Home at Hillside Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Guynes was born on October 21, 1936 in Big Spring, Texas to B.H. Guynes and Iris Holsenbeck. He married Johnnie Willkinson on February 23, 1957. He served his country in the Air Force and he loved to dance and play cards.

He is survived by three sons and daughters in law, Lynn and Pat Guynes, Snyder, Texas; Curtis and Delia Guynes, San Angelo, Texas; Charles and Jacy Guynes, Weatherford, Texas; and daughter Ginger English of Lubbock, Texas. Three brothers and sisters-in-law, J.T. and Faye Guynes, Ruidoso, New Mexico; Tommy Lee and Beth Guynes, Snyder, Texas; Donnie and Sandra Guynes, Snyder, Texas; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Edith Sue and Tommy Lock, Snyder, Texas; and Shirley Slaughter of Snyder, Texas. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.,

He was preceded in death by his wife Johnnie, his parents, one infant son, Ronnie Guynes; one sister Margaret Johnson; one brother and sister-in-law B.C.and Cleta Guynes; and two brothers Billy Joe Guynes and Willie Ray and wife Shirley Guynes.,
